Special Education Teacher - Osseo, Minnesota

Support elementary students with special needs in a dynamic, specialized setting within a Minnesota district’s expanded special education program. This contract role focuses on the Ready, Set, Launch Program, designed to meet the needs of learners with autism and various developmental profiles. Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Experience or strong interest in elementary special education, especially working with students with autism or developmental disabilities
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet varied learning needs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff, students, and families
• Must provide current resume and proof of licensure for consideration

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with student IEPs in the Ready, Set, Launch and associated DCD/LAUNCH programs
• Collaborate with support staff, paraprofessionals, and program coordinators to develop and implement effective strategies
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, participate in IEP meetings, and work closely with families
• Engage in ongoing professional development and adapt to evolving student needs
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and independence
