Support elementary students with special needs in a dynamic, specialized setting within a Minnesota district’s expanded special education program. This contract role focuses on the Ready, Set, Launch Program, designed to meet the needs of learners with autism and various developmental profiles. Make a direct impact by providing tailored instruction and fostering growth for students as part of a highly supportive team.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
  • Experience or strong interest in elementary special education, especially working with students with autism or developmental disabilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet varied learning needs
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff, students, and families
  • Must provide current resume and proof of licensure for consideration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with student IEPs in the Ready, Set, Launch and associated DCD/LAUNCH programs
  • Collaborate with support staff, paraprofessionals, and program coordinators to develop and implement effective strategies
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, participate in IEP meetings, and work closely with families
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and adapt to evolving student needs
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and independence

This full-time, Monday through Friday position runs from August 31, 2026, through June 10, 2027, with a regular daily schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week. Step into a fulfilling assignment where your expertise helps create brighter futures for every student.
