This is an opportunity to work full-time with an ABS (Academic and Behavioral Strategist) caseload, making a direct impact on the development and success of students requiring specialized support. You’ll enjoy a consistent weekday schedule, allowing for work-life balance while fostering meaningful connections within the school community from August 2026 through June 2027.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher license; only candidates holding Tier 3 or Tier 4 licensure will be considered.
  • Successful experience or background working with elementary-level special education students.
  • Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and legal compliance in special education.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues, families, and external professionals to support student growth.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organization skills.
  • Candidates must submit their MN Special Education Teacher license and an up-to-date resume for consideration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse academic and behavioral needs within the elementary ABS caseload.
  • Adapt and implement evidence-based interventions and instructional strategies tailored to individual student needs.
  • Develop, write, and monitor IEPs, ensuring compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
  • Maintain clear, collaborative communication with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and engagement.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, growth, and independence.
