Special Education Teacher | Hopkins, Minnesota

You’ll work closely with a manageable caseload of up to 10 students, utilizing a collaborative approach with paraprofessionals and an intervener. Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, active Special Education license (PELSB/MDE required prior to start—no exceptions)
• Tier 2 licensure or higher required
• Experience teaching students with Autism Spectrum Disorders strongly preferred
• Proven ability to collaborate with support staff, families, and other team members
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to individualized instruction and data-driven practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students on your caseload
• Deliver specialized instruction and adapt curriculum based on individual student needs
• Coordinate and collaborate with paraprofessionals and the intervener to enhance learning outcomes
• Conduct ongoing progress monitoring and maintain documentation as required by district and state guidelines
• Create a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment
