Special Education Teacher | Andover, Minnesota

The assignment runs from August 25, 2026, through June 10, 2027, offering a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday).

Qualifications Required:

• Current, valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Experience working with elementary-age students preferred
• Strong skills in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and administrators
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management abilities
• Proficient in adapting instructional techniques to meet diverse learning needs
• Able to provide a detailed resume and proof of licensure for consideration

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage an ABS caseload at the elementary level
• Develop, modify, and deliver lessons aligned with students’ individualized education programs
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to foster inclusive participation
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development as required
