Key Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
- Demonstrated experience supporting students in an elementary setting
- Passion for inclusive education and individualized learning plans
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to implement effective instructional strategies that promote student success
Position Details:
- Start date: August 25, 2026 | End date: June 10, 2027
- Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours weekly
- ABS caseload within elementary grade levels
- Work site: Supportive, resource-rich atmosphere in a welcoming school community
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver specialized instruction tailored to students' unique needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to foster a positive learning experience
- Document student progress, update IEPs, and participate in team meetings
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate varying abilities and learning styles
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
