Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students by providing exceptional special education instruction and care. This full-time contract opportunity, starting September 1, 2026 and lasting through June 4, 2027, is designed for passionate educators experienced in delivering specialized programs to young learners. You’ll serve elementary-aged students in a center-based classroom supporting those with DCD/ASD needs, within a dynamic and collaborative school environment.

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher License (Tier 3 or 4).
- Demonstrated experience working in elementary special education settings.
- Familiarity with teaching students with DCD (Developmental Cognitive Disabilities) and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorders).
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Collaborative spirit for effective teamwork with colleagues and families.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized instruction for elementary students in a center-based classroom.
- Adapt curriculum and learning plans to meet diverse educational and behavioral needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate in creating and implementing IEPs.
- Work closely with support staff, therapists, and administration.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom climate.
