Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Hold a valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required).
- Experience with elementary-aged students, especially those with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities.
- Solid foundation in IEP development, data-driven instruction, and positive behavior intervention strategies.
- Strong collaborative skills—ability to work closely with general educators, related service staff, and families.
- Skilled at adapting instruction to meet individualized needs and support positive student outcomes.
- Passionate about fostering independence, communication, and social skills in diverse student populations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction within the Ready, Set, Launch program for elementary students.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, tracking student progress and adjusting supports as needed.
- Collaborate with school staff and family members to ensure comprehensive student programming.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment supporting academic and functional growth.
- Participate in professional development and ongoing training related to special education best practices.
