Special Education Teacher in Osseo, MN

Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher in a vibrant learning environment. This full-time contract opportunity begins August 25, 2026 and continues through June 10, 2027, offering consistent Monday through Friday hours (37.5 hours per week). You'll play a vital role in guiding and advocating for students on an ABS (Academic Behavior Specialist) caseload.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Experience working with elementary-aged students is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and ability to implement accommodations and modifications
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff, families, and students
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and commitment to inclusion and student growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students with ABS needs in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Provide direct instruction, interventions, and support within both resource and general education settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and family members to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate records, complete necessary documentation, and participate in team meetings
• Foster a supportive, respectful, and engaging classroom environment that values diversity and builds student confidence
