Make an impact as a Special Education Teacher in an elementary school setting, working part-time in a supportive and collaborative environment. This contract opportunity allows you to connect with students who have an Academic and Behavior Support (ABS) caseload, helping them reach important educational milestones. The role begins late August 2026 and continues through early June 2027, offering steady, part-time hours on weekdays.

What you'll bring:

  • Current Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
  • Demonstrated experience or strong interest in supporting elementary students with unique learning and behavioral needs
  • Ability to collaborate with education teams and families to craft individualized learning plans
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to creating inclusive, positive classroom environments
  • Resume showcasing relevant teaching experience and certifications

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored instruction and support to elementary students in special education programs
  • Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) adapting curriculum to suit student needs
  • Monitor student progress, document achievements, and adjust strategies as needed
  • Work closely with general education teachers, aides, and specialists to coordinate services
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding students’ academic and behavioral progress
