Step into a rewarding special education role supporting young learners through the "Ready, Set, Launch" program, an innovative elementary-level resource designed to help students with diverse learning profiles flourish. Located in the heart of the area near Maple Grove, MN, this contract position runs from late August 2026 through early June 2027. As a critical part of this center-based team, you’ll have the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with autism and unique developmental needs, collaborating alongside other dedicated professionals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher License (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
  • Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
  • Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with general education staff, related service providers, and families
  • Passion for fostering independence, communication, and social-emotional skills in diverse learners

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student’s needs within the Ready, Set, Launch program
  • Deliver specially designed instruction in small group and one-on-one settings
  • Track student progress and adapt strategies to ensure meaningful growth
  • Regularly communicate with families and collaborate with school-based teams
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities offered by the program
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with district, state, and federal special education mandates
