Special Education Teacher - Maple Grove, MN

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support for students with various learning needs in an elementary setting.
• Develop, implement, and adapt IEPs to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, support staff, and families.
• Track student progress, keeping detailed, timely documentation.
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions.
• Utilize strong classroom management strategies tailored to diverse learning and behavioral needs.

Qualifications:

• Current Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required).
• Elementary experience preferred, especially with ABS populations.
• Ability to foster an inclusive, positive learning environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to supporting student growth—both academic and social-emotional.

Key Details:

• Contract position starting August 25, 2026, through June 10, 2027.
• Full-time; 37.5 hours/week, Monday through Friday.
• Elementary school ABS caseload.
