Special Education Teacher - Maple Grove, Minnesota

This contract opportunity is full-time for the 2026–2027 school year and involves working with a diverse caseload in a Setting 4 environment, serving elementary through high school students who present significant behavioral challenges and severe disabilities.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Demonstrated experience or a strong desire to work with students exhibiting intensive behaviors and complex needs
• Proven ability to foster a structured, supportive, and positive learning environment
• Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and engaging with families
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
• Must provide both license and resume to be considered

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and behavior interventions tailored to students in a Setting 4 special education program
• Develop, track, and monitor progress on IEP goals, making regular adjustments to support student success
• Liaise closely with school staff, therapists, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development
• Document ongoing progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages personal growth, independence, and academic achievement
