We are seeking three highly qualified paraprofessionals for rewarding contract opportunities at an elementary school serving a vibrant community. These roles involve providing personalized assistance to students in both Center-Based programs and Resource/Setting 1 & 2 classrooms.
Key Qualifications:
- Must be highly qualified according to Minnesota standards by meeting at least one of the following:
- Successful completion of the MN Para Educator Exam (passing score required)
- A minimum of 60 college credits with official transcripts (must provide an actual transcript; diploma or degree images are not accepted)
- Demonstrated experience supporting students in a school setting as a paraprofessional
- Willingness to assist with toileting and provide physical support as needed; flexibility and compassion are essential
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing classroom needs and work collaboratively with teaching staff
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Role Overview & Responsibilities:
- 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday; standard hours 9:10 AM – 4:10 PM
- One Center-Based position focused on providing intensive support to students with greater needs
- Two Resource/Setting 1 & 2 positions involving morning/afternoon support for different grade levels
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment, helping students achieve their goals both academically and socially
- Carry out instructional, behavioral, and personal care plans as outlined by the teaching staff and district guidelines
