Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher, supporting young learners in an engaging and collaborative school environment. This onsite, contract role focuses on serving early childhood and elementary-aged students, providing specialized instruction and fostering growth in a supportive classroom setting. The position runs through late May 2027, offering stability and the chance to build lasting relationships with students and colleagues.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current and active South Carolina Teaching License required
  • Dual certification in Special Education and Early Childhood for EC PCD Teacher position (3–4 years old)
  • SPED Multi-Categorical Endorsement required for K–3 ID Mild/Mod Self-contained role
  • Proven experience working with special education programs or early childhood classrooms
  • Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a student-centered approach
  • Ability to manage diverse classroom needs inclusively and effectively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction in a self-contained or inclusive classroom for students with varied needs
  • Design and implement IEPs, monitor student progress, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with school teams, families, and support staff to ensure holistic support for each student
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and timely communication with all stakeholders
  • Cultivate a positive, nurturing classroom that celebrates every learner’s achievements
