Special Education Teacher - Catawba, South Carolina

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active South Carolina Special Education Teacher License with Multi-Categorical certification (EC endorsement required)
• Experience supporting students in moderate or self-contained special education classrooms strongly preferred
• Comfortable adapting instruction for various age groups and abilities
• Skilled in collaboration, documentation, and classroom management
• Strong communication skills and commitment to positive student outcomes
• Availability for an onsite position (virtual options may be considered closer to the school year start)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction to meet IEP goals for students in elementary, middle, high school, or PreK settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Maintain accurate and timely records including progress reports and IEP documentation
• Adapt instructional materials and strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs
• Foster a supportive, respectful classroom climate for all students
• Encourage student growth, independence, and confidence every day
