Job Description

Key Qualifications:
- South Carolina active teaching license required
- Special Education certification and Early Childhood degree certification needed for the EC PCD Teacher position (3–4-year-olds)
- SPED Multi-Categorical endorsement required for the ID Mild/Moderate Self-contained K–3 position
- Experience working with early childhood and/or elementary-aged children, particularly those with special needs, is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Organizational skills and commitment to fostering an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
- Create engaging instruction that addresses cognitive, social, and emotional developmental goals
- Monitor, assess, and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure consistent support
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress
- Foster a welcoming, positive learning environment for all students
This is a full-time contract opportunity, running through May 27, 2027, with 37.5 working hours per week, entirely onsite.
