Position Highlights:

• Work onsite with children ages 3–4 as an EC PCD Teacher or support K–3 students in an ID Mild/Moderate Self-Contained class.
• School-based hours: 37.5 per week for the academic year through May 2027.
• Enjoy working alongside skilled professionals to enhance each student’s educational journey.

What We’re Looking For:

• Current, active South Carolina Teaching License.
• Certification in BOTH Special Education and Early Childhood Education for EC PCD Teacher applicants.
• SPED Multi-Categorical endorsement required for the K–3 Self-Contained position.
• Strong commitment to fostering student growth and a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Experience adapting curriculum and differentiating instruction to meet students’ varied needs.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills within team-based educational setting.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on students’ unique strengths and needs.
• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction that nurtures both academic and personal growth.
• Collaborate with related service providers, classroom staff, and families to ensure a supportive learning environment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines.
