Special Education Teacher - Cheraw, South Carolina

Working onsite in a supportive school environment, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver individualized instruction in either an early childhood (ages 3–4) or self-contained K–3 setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina Teaching License (active)
• Special Education and Early Childhood degree certifications (for EC PCD Teacher position)
• SPED Multi-Categorical endorsement (for ID Mild/Moderate Self-contained K–3 position)
• Demonstrated experience working with early childhood and/or elementary special education populations
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to providing inclusive, positive learning environments focused on student success

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students based on assessment data and student needs
• Employ evidence-based instructional strategies to meet diverse learning profiles
• Track and report progress toward IEP goals and state standards
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to support student development
• Maintain timely, accurate records and compliance with all district and state requirements
• Create engaging classroom experiences that nurture growth in academic, social, and behavioral domains
