Key Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina Teaching License required
• BOTH Special Education and Early Childhood degree certification needed for EC PCD Teacher position (3-4 year olds)
• SPED Multi-Cat endorsement required for ID Mild/Mod Self-Contained K-3 position
• Proven ability to design and implement individualized education programs
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Previous experience working with children in early childhood and/or self-contained settings preferred
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to preschool and primary-aged students in self-contained and inclusive settings
• Adapt lessons and teaching strategies to meet varied student abilities
• Maintain accurate records, progress monitoring, and compliance documentation
• Collaborate with families, support staff, and fellow educators to ensure student success
• Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and provide ongoing feedback
• Create a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment
