Special Education Teacher | Catawba, South Carolina

This position allows you to immerse yourself in diverse educational settings—ranging from moderate classrooms and co-taught resource rooms to multi-category self-contained environments.

You'll have the chance to work onsite in a collaborative, encouraging atmosphere—making a meaningful impact every day. With positions spanning elementary, middle, high school, and PreK, your skills will be valued in a variety of classroom settings. Currently, roles are available for immediate start and will continue through May 2027. Full-time hours (35–37.5 per week) give you ample opportunity to connect with students and embrace a fulfilling routine.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Active South Carolina SPED Teacher License with Multi-categorical or required certifications
• Endorsement or certification in Early Childhood Education (for PreK assignments)
• Experience in moderate, co-taught, resource, or self-contained special education classrooms
• Ability to thrive in both structured and flexible teaching environments
• Passion for fostering student growth in inclusive, supportive settings

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with varying needs
• Collaborate with general education staff, paraprofessionals, and support personnel
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Employ differentiated teaching strategies to promote engagement and progress
• Foster positive classroom management and inclusive practices
