An excellent opportunity awaits for a dedicated Occupational Therapist interested in making a difference in a vibrant school environment. This contract position is located near Bolingbrook, IL and requires in-person support for students, starting as soon as possible and extending through May 28th, 2027. Working collaboratively with an early childhood diagnostic team, you'll impact students’ growth, learning, and daily success.

This role offers a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 to 40 hours, with days running from 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM. You'll begin the school year supporting approximately 30 students, with additional students added as evaluations determine further needs. This is an outstanding chance to build meaningful relationships and help pioneer flexible, individualized plans for a dynamic caseload.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Illinois Occupational Therapist licensure is required and must be maintained throughout the assignment.
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong collaboration skills, particularly with evaluation teams and multidisciplinary staff.
  • Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and student needs.
  • Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered therapy interventions.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy for students, supporting their educational access and participation.
  • Collaborate with the early childhood diagnostic team to assess and identify students' needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy goals and strategies.
  • Document all services and contribute to IEP meetings as needed.
  • Adjust services as more students are evaluated and integrate new members into the caseload.
