Make a meaningful impact working as an Occupational Therapist within a school-based setting in the Sycamore area. Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Occupational Therapist license in Illinois (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
  • Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, and families
  • Excellent time management, organization, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students according to their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ developmental and physical needs
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other related service professionals
  • Monitor, document, and report on student progress and therapy outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
  • Offer recommendations for classroom modifications and assistive equipment as needed
  • Maintain compliance with school, state, and federal policies and regulations
