What we’re looking for:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current OT license in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
• Knowledge of school-based evaluation and therapy practices
• Experience with IEP development and participation
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, families, and related service professionals
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities
• Experience in a school setting preferred

What you’ll do:

• Conduct assessments of students' functional abilities and needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs and 504 plans)
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students within the school environment
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a team-based approach
• Educate staff and parents on strategies for classroom success and carryover of skills
