Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Illinois
• Previous experience providing OT services in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Skilled in conducting thorough OT evaluations and writing clear, detailed reports
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and school personnel
• Commitment to fostering student growth, independence, and inclusion

Responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive OT evaluations for students, using evidence-based assessment tools
• Develop intervention plans based on evaluation results and student IEPs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and track individualized goals
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as needed
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Communicate evaluation findings and recommendations to parents, staff, and other stakeholders
• Participate in IEP meetings and other school-based multidisciplinary meetings
