Qualifications & Required Experience:

  • Current Illinois Occupational Therapist license
  • Proven experience working in schools, especially with early childhood populations
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
  • Commitment to supporting student growth through individualized, evidence-based strategies
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic educational environment

Role Overview:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to early childhood students
  • Assess student needs and develop targeted intervention plans
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to implement IEP goals
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success plans

Contract Details:

  • Full-time: 37.5-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Start date: ASAP
  • End date: 5/28/2027
