Make a positive difference in children's lives by bringing your expertise in school psychology to a welcoming elementary environment. This contract opportunity is perfect for skilled professionals ready to start as soon as possible and continue through mid-July, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours over five days each week. You'll work closely with a dedicated team, providing vital support to elementary-aged students.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active RI Psychologist credential or certification required
  • Previous experience as a School Psychologist in an educational setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of child development, assessment, and intervention
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
  • Organizational skills to manage assessments, IEPs, and documentation efficiently

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for elementary students
  • Develop, review, and contribute to IEP planning and implementation
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling support as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Consult on behavioral and academic interventions
  • Maintain accurate records and compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Caseload will be assigned upon placement
