Job Description
Advance your career as a School Psychologist in a supportive and dynamic educational environment on a contract basis with an assignment running from August 24, 2026 to June 7, 2027. This full-time opportunity offers you the chance to work in a single building with a manageable caseload of approximately 40-50 students, where you’ll make a meaningful impact through direct student support and collaboration with educators.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
- Valid and current licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and providing effective interventions
- Strong understanding of special education law and school-based procedures
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and re-evaluations for students
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized plans
- Provide consultation and intervention strategies to teachers, parents, and staff
- Support social-emotional development and mental health initiatives across the school
- Collect and analyze data to inform decision-making and measure student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
