Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid certification or licensure to practice as a School Psychologist
  • Prior experience in a school setting highly valued
  • Strong skills in conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing evaluation reports
  • Excellent communication abilities to consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Understanding of diverse student populations and the ability to tailor interventions accordingly
  • Commitment to ethical and professional standards in school psychological services

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student evaluations using a variety of assessment tools
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies addressing academic and behavioral needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to support the implementation of evidence-based interventions
  • Provide counseling and consultation to support students’ mental health and well-being
  • Serve as an advocate for students’ needs and promote a positive, inclusive school environment
