This opportunity allows you to collaborate closely with educators and families while providing essential psych services across elementary (3 buildings) or middle school (2 buildings) settings. With a flexible schedule spanning 20-30 hours per week onsite, you'll have the chance to engage with a diverse student body and contribute to a positive school climate.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification/license for Michigan
• Experience working within elementary and/or middle school environments preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
• Ability to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
• Collaborative mindset for working with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct student evaluations for academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and support services as needed
• Engage in data-driven decision making to support student development and achievement
• Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
• Maintain thorough records and uphold all relevant compliance standards
• Offer staff training and guidance on student mental health and wellness topics
