Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid NJ School Psychologist certification required
  • Experience working with students in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of psychological assessments, behavior intervention, and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations of students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote academic and social-emotional success
  • Participate in meetings, case conferences, and intervention planning
  • Document services and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines
