Make a lasting impact supporting students as a contracted School Psychologist in a dynamic, collaborative elementary school environment in the Arvada, CO area. This onsite-only, full-time opportunity spans several academic years, offering continuity in supporting a vibrant educational community. You’ll work across Field Elementary and Hopkins Elementary, engaging with students, educators, and families to promote student well-being and create inclusive learning environments.

Your journey will begin with a thorough two-part interview process—first with the SPED Coordinator, followed by the School Principal. The ideal candidate not only demonstrates technical expertise, but also brings warmth, positivity, and exceptional communication skills to articulate their experience and connect meaningfully with others.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a current ‘Professional Special Services License’ from the Colorado Department of Education (or have applied, if relocating from out of state)
  • Master’s or higher in School Psychology or a related field
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and collaboration skills
  • Previous experience supported by clear examples during interviews
  • Possess high energy and a friendly, approachable demeanor
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40 students

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments, interpreting data, and developing individualized intervention plans
  • Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Providing direct counseling and behavioral support services
  • Contributing expertise in special education processes and meetings
  • Maintaining detailed documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
