Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) providing vital services in a supportive K-12 educational environment near Centreville, MD. This onsite, school-based role is perfect for professionals passionate about making an impact across a diverse caseload—ranging from spot fill needs to high school students with moderate to severe needs in a self-contained setting, as well as providing itinerant services at multiple sites. Full-time hours are available, with the option for part-time arrangements to fit your professional preferences.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Maryland (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Previous experience in Maryland school settings is preferred
  • Comfortable working across multiple school locations with K-12 students
  • Familiarity with moderate to severe needs, especially in high school populations
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality speech and language services to a diverse K-12 caseload
  • Provide both direct intervention and consultation for students with varying needs
  • Complete evaluations, develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to achieve student goals
  • Travel between assigned school sites as required for itinerant positions
