School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Preston, Maryland

Key Qualifications:

• Active Maryland SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience providing SLP services within a school environment preferred
• Adaptability for working with varied age groups and backgrounds
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to support collaboration with other professionals and families

Role Highlights & Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy and assessment services primarily at Cambridge-South Dorchester High School and Dorchester Career & Technology Center, with weekly visits to Maple Elementary School
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ specific speech and language goals
• Conduct evaluations, share progress updates, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate speech-language goals into the educational environment
• Maintain detailed, accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in professional development and contribute to a supportive, inclusive school climate

This is a full-time, school-based contract starting August 24th, 2026, through June 10th, 2027, with a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.
