This position primarily supports students at Cambridge-South Dorchester High School and Dorchester Career & Technology Center, with one day per week spent at Maple Elementary School. Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Active Maryland SLP license (or eligibility)
- Previous school-based experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff for holistic support
- Document therapy progress and maintain accurate records
- Develop IEPs and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Serve both high school and elementary school populations for well-rounded exposure
