This rewarding opportunity spans the full 2026-2027 academic year, offering the flexibility of full-time (37.5 hours/week) or part-time hours. Serve a diverse K-12 caseload and provide essential services across multiple school sites in a welcoming, tight-knit district.

What you'll bring:

  • Valid and active Maryland SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Prior experience working within Maryland schools (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of assessment and intervention for a range of communication disorders
  • Capacity to serve self-contained, moderate-to-severe needs at the high school level
  • Adaptability and professionalism while working itinerantly between school locations
  • Enthusiasm for collaborating with staff, teachers, and families for student success

What you'll do:

  • Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy to K-12 students
  • Manage a “spot fill” caseload across multiple school campuses
  • Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Offer targeted support for students in both self-contained high school settings and mainstream environments
  • Coordinate with school teams and families, providing expertise for student communication needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district standards
