This contract position offers a diverse caseload, primarily serving students at both a high school and a career and technology center, with the rewarding opportunity to support elementary students once a week as well. Enjoy a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, providing you with ample time to collaborate and make a real difference.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences.
  • Active Maryland SLP license is required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Previous experience working in school settings preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to adapt therapy to meet the diverse needs of students at multiple grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students at high school, technology center, and one elementary school.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to ensure student success.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on speech/language goals.
  • Support a positive and inclusive school environment through evidence-based interventions.
