Key Qualifications:

  • Active Maryland SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience in Maryland school settings preferred
  • Comfortable working itinerantly across multiple school sites
  • Skilled in supporting moderate to severe student needs
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based speech-language services to K-12 students within designated caseloads, including students in self-contained high school settings with moderate to severe needs
  • Provide spot fill services in response to current district needs, adapting to different sites as required
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Complete timely assessments, progress monitoring, and documentation in line with school and state guidelines
  • Actively participate in team meetings, staff development, and ongoing training as part of the school’s support community
