Experience a rewarding opportunity providing speech and language services in a vibrant and collaborative educational setting. This contract position is ideal for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists who thrive in school environments and are dedicated to supporting student communication needs.

Key Details:

  • Length of assignment: August 24th, 2026 – June 10th, 2027
  • Weekly schedule: 37.5 hours
  • Location focus: Primarily serving both Cambridge-South Dorchester High School and Dorchester Career & Technology Center, with one dedicated day weekly at Maple Elementary School

Desired Qualifications:

  • Hold an active Maryland SLP license (CCC required)
  • Strong knowledge of school-based SLP practices and IEP processes
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Experience working with a diverse student population in elementary and secondary settings
  • Proficiency in assessment, therapy planning, and progress monitoring for students with a range of speech and language needs

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services aligned with student IEP goals
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and comprehensive evaluations
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student communication success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Offer professional input during IEP meetings and team collaborations
  • Deliver services at multiple school sites as scheduled
