What you bring:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license in Maryland
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Previous experience working in Maryland schools preferred
  • Comfort working with moderate to severe needs in self-contained settings
  • Strong organization and adaptability for itinerant travel between campuses
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

What you’ll do:

  • Work onsite across various schools, addressing spot fill caseload needs
  • Provide direct speech and language services to K-12 students—including high schoolers with moderate to severe needs in a self-contained classroom
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Serve as an itinerant clinician between school locations
  • Collaborate with classroom staff, families, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain ongoing progress documentation
  • Offer recommendations and resources to classroom teachers and families
