School Speech Language Pathologist - Federalsburg, Maryland

An exciting opportunity awaits for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to make a true impact within a supportive educational setting for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position is located near Federalsburg, MD and serves a diverse K-12 student population. The assignment will begin August 26, 2026, and extend through June 11, 2027.

Your expertise will help address spot fill caseloads at multiple school sites, including itinerant services and supporting a high school self-contained classroom with students demonstrating moderate to severe needs. The district fosters a collaborative and encouragement-focused atmosphere, making a meaningful difference each day.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Active Maryland SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Previous experience working in Maryland schools preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work across multiple campuses and adapt to varying caseload needs
• Dedication to fostering student engagement and progress

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy for K-12 students, addressing a range of communication needs
• Serve moderate to severe students in a high school, self-contained classroom
• Travel between school sites to support spot fill needs as an itinerant SLP
• Document student progress and maintain compliant records
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal student outcomes
