Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Maryland SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Prefer experience working with Maryland school systems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and adapt to itinerant schedules across multiple school sites

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students based on individualized education plans
  • Serve a diverse caseload of spot fill needs, including high school self-contained classrooms with moderate to severe communication challenges
  • Collaborate with educational teams, families, and other service providers to support student growth
  • Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Travel between school sites within the district as needed
