Step into a dynamic educational environment this upcoming school year by securing a contract position as a School Psychologist serving a high school caseload. This engaging opportunity runs full-time (35 hours weekly) from August 24, 2026, through May 2027, with the potential for extension. Leverage your expertise to make a meaningful difference in the lives of high school students, collaborating closely with educators and families as you conduct comprehensive evaluations and contribute to PPT reporting. You’ll be a great fit if you possess:

  • Active Connecticut licensure and certification as a School Psychologist
  • Proven experience working in school-based settings, preferably at the high school level
  • A solid background in evaluation administration and PPT (Planning and Placement Team) processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A collaborative spirit and commitment to holistic student support

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting psychological evaluations and assessments for high school students
  • Providing insightful PPT reports and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Collaborating with teachers, families, and other support staff to promote students’ academic, social, and emotional well-being
  • Implementing evidence-based interventions and monitoring their effectiveness
  • Maintaining thorough, accurate documentation in accordance with district and state standards
