Key Qualifications and Requirements:
- Active Connecticut School Psychologist (CT PSYCH) license required
- Demonstrated experience as a school psychologist, with a focus on educational evaluations
- Familiarity with high school-aged student populations and related assessment protocols
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration
- Commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality standards in all evaluations
- Ability to manage a timely evaluation cycle and maintain well-organized documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for high school students (evals only)
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to interpret assessment results and contribute to individualized education planning
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timely evaluation records in accordance with regulatory and school guidelines
- Participate in assessment meetings as needed to present findings and support student-centered recommendations
- Schedule and prioritize caseload independently, focusing solely on evaluations (no counseling required)
