Qualifications:

• Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience in school-based settings, preferably at the elementary level
• Strong background in IEP development and compliance
• Skilled in delivering individual and group counseling
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• In-depth understanding of best practices in psychological assessment and intervention for children

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for students, contributing valuable insights during eligibility and review meetings
• Draft clear, effective IEPs tailored to student needs, aligning with educational goals
• Deliver counseling services in both individual and group formats, supporting emotional and behavioral growth
• Work closely with teachers, families, and support staff to implement intervention strategies
• Track and document student progress to ensure ongoing support and compliance with educational guidelines
• Provide crisis intervention and participate in multidisciplinary meetings as needed
