Step into a rewarding onsite opportunity as a dedicated school psychologist serving high school students for the upcoming academic year. In this full-time, contract position, you will work 35 hours each week from late August through May, with the potential to extend your assignment beyond the end of the school year. Your expertise will play a critical role in supporting students and collaborating with educators within a vibrant high school community.

Your primary focus will include conducting evaluations, administering assessments, and providing detailed PPT reports to guide student interventions. You’ll work closely with teachers, families, and fellow specialists to foster academic, social, and emotional growth in students who need it most.

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Active licensure and certification as a school psychologist in Connecticut
  • Previous school-based experience at the high school level
  • Strong understanding of comprehensive evaluation practices and PPT processes
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working onsite and engaging directly in a school setting

Responsibilities will encompass:

  • Conducting student assessments and evaluations as required
  • Preparing thorough and timely PPT reports
  • Participating actively in student planning meetings
  • Consulting with staff and families regarding best practices and interventions
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential student records throughout assignment

This position is aligned with the academic calendar, beginning August 24, 2026, and ending in May 2027, with possible extension for the remainder of the school year. Initial interviews will be conducted via Zoom for convenience.
