Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing speech-language services across multiple engaging educational settings. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work at Cambridge-South Dorchester High School and Dorchester Career & Technology Center, with an additional day each week dedicated to Maple Elementary School. The position begins August 24th, 2026, and continues through June 10th, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

Expertise and skills for success:

  • Current and active Maryland SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Demonstrated experience supporting communication needs in school settings
  • Ability to adapt service delivery across high school, career-tech, and elementary populations
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation abilities

What you’ll do:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct speech-language therapy to students, adjusting for varied academic levels
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs and goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to support comprehensive student growth
  • Maintain thorough and compliant records and reports
  • Consult with school staff to integrate speech-language strategies within the classroom environment
  • Travel between Cambridge-South Dorchester High, Dorchester Career & Technology Center, and Maple Elementary as part of your weekly schedule
