Speech Language Pathologist in Hurlock, MD

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Maryland SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Recent experience in Maryland schools preferred
• Ability to work effectively across a variety of educational settings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based therapy for a diverse caseload, including both spot fill needs and more intensive requirements
• Serve students in both self-contained high school classrooms (moderate to severe needs) and itinerant positions across multiple school sites
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to inform Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Develop and implement targeted treatment plans, monitor progress, and maintain thorough documentation
• Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide staff training as needed
