Step into a contract opportunity supporting students’ communication and development needs as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role is based in a supportive educational setting and offers the chance to work with a diverse K-12 caseload, providing therapeutic services at multiple onsite locations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Active Maryland SLP license (requirement)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience working in Maryland schools (preferred)
  • Background with K-12 student populations, including moderate to severe needs
  • Flexibility to work across multiple campuses in an itinerant model
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide speech and language therapy to students with a variety of needs
  • Manage a caseload based on spot fill requirements—including elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Deliver services in self-contained and itinerant capacities, adapting to different environments
  • Maintain thorough records and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Consult with teachers and participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise for student support plans
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that helps each student reach their communication goals

You’ll be working onsite only, with a full-time 37.5 hours per week or the option for part-time hours if needed. The assignment runs from late August 2026 through mid-June 2027, ensuring continuity of care and comprehensive support throughout the school year.
