Step into a dynamic school-based role where you’ll make a meaningful impact on K–8 students by providing vital psychological support and behavioral interventions. This full-time, contract opportunity is suited for a dedicated school psychologist ready to work 30 hours per week in a vibrant educational setting near Norwich, CT. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to create productive learning environments, drive data-informed decisions, and elevate student well-being through expert assessment and case management.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification (or eligible for state licensure)
  • Demonstrated experience with behavioral interventions and strategies
  • Strong skills in psychoeducational evaluations and report writing
  • Proven ability to manage diverse caseloads and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with K–8 developmental stages and learning needs
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and consultation abilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students in grades K–8
  • Design and implement behavior intervention plans targeting positive student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing data-driven recommendations
  • Offer crisis response and consultation on student mental health and behavioral needs
  • Maintain comprehensive and compliant case documentation
  • Communicate effectively with staff, families, and administrators
  • Provide general case management support, including progress monitoring and service coordination
