Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active Connecticut School Psychologist license (CT PSYCH)
• Experience conducting comprehensive student psychological assessments at the high school level
• Strong understanding of special education eligibility, IEP process, and relevant documentation
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and report-writing skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage a caseload focused on evaluations
• Commitment to ethical, culturally competent, and student-centered practices

Responsibilities:

• Provide detailed psycho-educational evaluations for high school students as assigned
• Collaborate with educational teams to interpret assessment data and inform eligibility decisions
• Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary and IEP meetings as needed
• Maintain thorough, timely, and confidential documentation in line with school and state requirements
• Support the referral process and consult with staff regarding best practices in assessment

Role Details:

• Assignment runs from ASAP through June, aligned with the school calendar
• Monday–Friday, 7:00am–2:30pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)
• Single high school campus placement, eliminating extensive travel
• Caseload centered exclusively on evaluations; no counseling duties required
